The Ostrich is a strange. There are quite a few interesting and peculiar things about it. In fact, it does not hide his heard in sand. We except the Ostrich to do everything. The African Ostrich is the largest living bird. No other bird can be compared with it. The Ostrich has been found to measure up to 2.5 meters and weigh more than 140 kgs. It would be a job carrying weight around on a pair of wings.
Coming to laying eggs, the Ostrich is champ again. If lays the largest eggs of any living birds. The length of its eggs is about 17cm and in diameter it is to say 15 cm. Time taken to boil is about 40 minutes if you happen to have one for breakfast.
